Le Sueur Economic Development Authority Launches Business Challenge
In an exciting move to support local businesses and stimulate growth in the community, the Le Sueur Economic Authority (EDA) is proud to announce the launch of the Le Sueur Business Challenge. This initiative is designed to foster the development of new businesses, encourage expansion, and attract businesses to relocate to Le Sueur, with a focus on revitalizing its vibrant downtown area.
The Le Sueur Business Challenge is open to businesses of all types and sizes and offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors to bring their visions to life. Whether looking to start a new business, expand an existing operation, or relocate to Le Sueur, the challenge winner will receive personalized guidance from the EDA, including access to funding, mentorship, networking, and promotional support.
This program is sponsored by the Le Sueur Economic Development Authority, the Le Sueur Chamber of Commerce, First Farmers + Merchants Bank, Anderson & Skubitz, The Henderson Independent and Le Sueur County News.
The grand prize package is valued at $10,000 which includes:
- Forgivable loan of $10,000 (forgivable over 3 years)
- $500 in print/digital advertising from Le Sueur County News
- $200 in print/digital advertising from the Henderson Independent
- Two hours of legal services from Anderson & Skubitz (value $500)
- Financial accounting assistance from First Farmers + Merchants Bank (value $250)
- One-year free Chamber membership (value: $200+)
