Public Works staff will be reclaiming and regrading gravel alleys throughout the City starting Wednesday, April 24th.
This is an annual maintenance project which includes tilling of the top 2”-4” of gravel, leveling as needed with a skid loader, and compacting with a roller to leave a smooth, firm surface. This helps restore the surfacing after winter to make the alleys better to drive, extends the life of the gravel, and can drastically reduce our overall maintenance costs.
